What does employment verification include?
Employment history verification involves contacting each workplace listed in a candidate’s resume to confirm that the applicant was in fact employed there, to check what the applicant’s job title(s) were during their work tenure, and the dates of the applicant’s employment there.
What is employment proof?
The most common proof of employment is an employment verification letter from an employer that includes the employee’s dates of employment, job title, and salary. It’s also often called a “letter of employment,” a “job verification letter,” or a “proof of employment letter.”
